The following article contains some spoilers for Chapter 11: The Heiress.

Most people have enjoyed the past two episodes of the second season of Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, but most people have also been in agreement that there has been something lacking from them. It just doesn’t have that same magic touch of gold that season one had, and tons of fans were waiting to see that one episode that reminds them what makes this Star Wars spinoff series so great. Ladies and gentlemen, Chapter 11: The Heiress is that episode.

Bryce Dallas Howard returns to the director’s chair for this episode and honestly, it shows. That’s a really good thing. She also helmed Chapter 4: Sanctuary back in season one, and that was one of my favorite episodes. It was action-packed but also managed to progress the overall storyline forward in bold and exciting ways. The same exact things can be said about The Heiress.

The previous two episodes were quite fun, right? The only problem is that they really didn’t feel like they were progressing the overall storyline forward. This new episode definitely does. We are introduced to some brand new faces that are amazing to get to learn more about. Not only that but the episode as a whole essentially revolves around Din Djarin / The Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal) trying to help out his brand new allies because if he does, they swear they will give him information on the whereabouts of a Jedi.

So, for the entire episode, we are left to wonder who this Jedi could be. It obviously wouldn’t be somebody like Luke Skywalker, which is okay because he has been in tons of Star Wars films already and we don’t need to see him again and besides, they would have to bring back Mark Hamill and use de-aging effects on him because this show takes place after Return of the Jedi, but not even close to the events of The Force Awakens.

But, at the very end of the episode, we learn that this Jedi is none other than the legendary Ahsoka Tano. Just the mention of her name in The Heiress will be enough to make Star Wars fans all around the world shake in excitement to see how she will be introduced in the coming episodes. By the looks of it, it seriously seems as though she will be in next week’s episode and if that’s true, we are in for a treat.

Honestly, there isn’t much to complain about when it comes to this eleventh episode. It features some truly incredible action sequences, teases us perfectly with the introduction of Ahsoka Tano, progresses the story forward, and features The Child trying to eat even more strange-looking food. What more could you honestly ask for?

Now we’re back on track. The Heiress not only progresses the overall storyline forward, but it also offers incredible action and introduces us to brand new and exciting faces.
